METAL GEAR SOLID 1
The original Metal Gear, designed by Hideo Kojima, debuted in 1987 for the MSX2 computer platform in Japan and Europe. A heavily modified port produced by a different team was released shortly after for Nintendo's Family Computer in Japan and its counterpart, the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), in North America and Europe. Konami then decided to produce a sequel for the NES, titled Snake's Revenge, which was also done without Kojima's involvement and released in 1990 in North America and Europe. One of the designers who worked on Snake's Revenge became acquainted with Hideo Kojima and asked him to do a "real Metal Gear sequel". Kojima accepted his request and began development on his own sequel, titled Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, released in Japan for the MSX2 in 1990.
After Metal Gear 2, Hideo Kojima worked on other projects (notably Snatcher and Policenauts) before directing his third Metal Gear game, Metal Gear Solid, which was released for the PlayStation in 1998. The success of Metal Gear Solid inspired a series of sequels and a prequel on the PlayStation home consoles as well as several portable games. Metal Gear Solid was followed by Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and the prequel Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater for PlayStation 2. The series storyline was finally concluded in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for PlayStation 3.

Snow Bros is considered the greatest game of all times by some people. At least by the one writing this over-extensive and pointlessly precise game guide.
Don't let anyone thick you into believing Snow Bros is some sort of arcade game where you defeat dangerous (and yet a bit bizarre) monster and collect points on your way. Thats what other Snow Bros guides want to make you believe. (-"what other guides?", voice in off)

However, the simple fact about snow bros is: you and your friend are a pair of shining-white snowman whose posh girlfriends (whom wear like a princess, but we think it's just a costume) got into trouble when they went out last night and meet a couple gigantic stone-heads that spit bubbles...and went home with them after a few drinks.
Your job is, of course, to go to the house of those buddies, smack those stone-heads and get back your posh girlfriends. If your friend can't be bothered to go over and pick up his girlfriend from those ugly stone-heads with you, then you can have both. (Just don't tell him afterwards)

Oh I forgot to tell you, those guys leave in a 50 store tower full of bad guys and really ugly every ten floors; and there is no elevator, you have to walk up all the 50 floors.
That's what this game is all about, and don't let anyone else tell you different.
Now, if you have just find out that your girlfriend cheated on you with two ugly stone-heads and feel like throwing snow at someone and kick 'him for good, then my friend, in this guide you will find everything you need to know (and some other things you probably didn't care at all).
Now, more seriously, I'm writing all this guide not so much for the Snow Bros fans who have been playing this for years, but for the novices who are just discovering it. I hope I encourage more people to play this great game. Specially, I believe is a nice introduction to video games for kids: is original, simple enough and it doesn't have the potentially dangerous side of some modern online games. (I know what I am talking about, I have been so hook up on Ragnarok Online, shame on me). Just for a change, is nice to play a video game where the objetive isn't to spill blood.
Also, I believe that history hasn't done it justice. It appeared just before the avalanche of fighting games and thus, it didn't have time to make a name in the videogame history. It was completely eclipsed. If it had only appeared one or two years earlier, things would be much different.
And finally, I am writing all this because Snow Bros is just plain fun to play! :-)

In Blast Thru you must burst through multi-colored blocks in this fast-paced arcade game for up to eight players. n the Bubble Bobble game you play one or pair of little dragons against enemies. These dragons can blow bubbles to catch enemies inside. After that you should jump on bubble with an enemy trapped inside and pop them! To increase your score pick up items: fruits, vegetables, diamonds, jewels etc. You can also pick up some items to make your journey easy. These items are called "bonuses". They appear on stages after certain events. Some of them increase speed, range of bubbles' firing, others give you a chance to get more score points or extra lives. On some stages you can pop special bubbles that appear from holes in the top or/and bottom of stage. These special bubbles will help you destroy monsters in different ways.

THE HOUS EOF DEAD
BSEditor: The House of the Dead is a rail shooter light gun game. Players use a light gun (or mouse, in the PC version) to aim and shoot at approaching enemies. The characters' pistols use magazines, and are required to reload once each magazine is empty. A set of torches next to the magazine of each player represents remaining health. When a player is hurt or shoots a civilian, one of their torches is removed, signifying damage. A player is dead when all torches are lost. A player may then continue by inserting more credits, if playing on an arcade machine, and pressing the "continue" or "start" button. There are first-aid packs available throughout the game that will restore one torch. These are found either in the possession of civilians that the player has rescued or inside breakable objects. Throughout the course of the game, players are given numerous situations in which their actions will have an effect on the direction of gameplay. For instance, in the beginning of the game, a civilian is about to be thrown off the bridge to his death. If players save the civilian, they will enter the house directly through the front door; however, if the civilian dies, players are redirected to an underground route through the sewers. This branching path system was also implemented in the sequels.
VIRTUAL COP
irtua Cop 2 is a bit like House of the Dead games but instead of zombies , your targets are criminals. During the game you play as a cop and have to shoot the criminals. Just like the games you find at the funfair with the laser guns and you point the gun at the screen and shoot using it , but with a mouse instead :).But watch out , this game can become very addictive.You will start the game with a set number of lives and the easy mission and as you progress through the game , the missions will get harder and you will find less pickups (like machine guns and more lives)
Virtua Cop 2 (a.k.a. Virtua Squad 2) is a faithful PC port of SEGA?s arcade hit of the same name, a ?rail shooter? played from a first-person perspective, except this time you no longer can shoot with the arcade gun. Virtua Cop 2 follows the lives of three officers and their exploits in the field of crimefighting. You can only play this game with up to two players, though. The graphics in this game easily surpasses those of the original Virtua Cop. Instead of gangsters who look like they are all related, there are many different kinds enemies, including soldiers, the cargo loader from Aliens, and even George Michael (well, someone who looks like him anyway). These characters know their parts well and always get to their entrances on time. They even fall off buildings and crash through conveniently placed wooden crates
